FLAVOURED OILS

Stir in a Little Magic…

Invite more flavour into your pots and pans with fragrant herb-infused oils—little bottles of sunshine and garden goodness. Try your hand at crafting your own blends—rosemary and garlic, basil and lemon, thyme and chilli… the possibilities are as endless as your curiosity. A simple way to make everyday cooking feel just a little more enchanting.

INGREDIENTS

  • 200 ml canola oil

  • 200 ml olive oil

  • 3 peeled garlic cloves

  • 3 fresh rosemary sticks

  • 3 fresh thyme sprigs

  • 3 chillies, sliced

  • fresh black, red and green peppercorns

How to Make a Bottle of Herb-Infused Kitchen Sunshine.

  • Begin with a clean, 500ml glass bottle—one with a little charm never hurts.

  • Pour in a blend of olive oil and canola oil, filling the bottle nearly to the top.

  • Take each clove of garlic and give it a gentle crush under your palm—just enough to awaken its aroma and release that lovely, mellow heat.

  • Tuck the garlic into the bottle like treasure, followed by your chosen herbs and spices (a sprig of rosemary, a ribbon of lemon peel, a few peppercorns… whatever stirs your fancy).

  • Seal the bottle and let it rest in a cool, dark spot for 48 hours—just enough time for all the flavours to mingle and dance

Drizzle over roasted vegetables, swirl into soups, or simply dunk with fresh bread and a sigh of satisfaction. It’s a small ritual, but one that fills the kitchen with joy.
